10 april The TS Or The ColtLet me start off by saying "Stress is feeling your boss/customer breathing down you neck, even when he/she is not there".
Right now, the question of the month for me is, "The Subaru TS or the Mitsubishi Colt".
Which immediately boils down to the next question, and that is.. "How am I going to pay for it..?"
Is there such a thing as a 30 year car loan? One can always hope for a miracle..
14 maart Inspiration FestTwo things that shock the core of my being.
The founders of google started out with the sole objective of providing the public a better search engine. By bringing good to the people, they were richly rewarded with a multi-billion dollar success. Remember, Don't Be Evil...
A breath-catching series by NBC. Features a small group of individuals out to save the world. Fictional, but still highly inspiration...
When was the last time you did something for the good of mankind?
13 maart Renovation StartsToday is renovation Day 2.
Our new home is currently a mess, a huge pile of sand in the living room, wires hanging from the ceiling, kitchen and toilets with hacked floors and walls...
Hope that at the end of this, we'll have a nice and comfy home.
Right now its all plan this, check that, buy buy buy and pay pay pay... $<

22 december Coach -- Not Your Average Bus RideI learnt a new word this month. The word is "Coach".
You mean, like a bus? Nope. Coach is a big label for ladies handbag. I learnt about it after wife bought one this month, after which brother's girlfriend bought one too.
With a big label comes a big price tag. Ladies, may I remind you that is Coach is one of the seven sins...
20 december Head Banging WeffRiddlesTry out this url below
Basically, you need to be a little IT savy in order to solve the riddles they post. After you answered a riddle correctly, you'll move on to the next level. There is an official forum where you can get hints from other site visitors for the riddles. No posting of answers, no spoilers, or the moderators will take action.
Wife and I spent nights killing brain cells over the riddles. They are fun, and addictive in a way, and self-satisfying when you solve the puzzle. Yet it is common to get really stumped on the riddles. In the forum, many visitors used the bang-head-on-the-wall emoticons to express their frustration.
Too many times we felt exactly the same way. Sometimes getting stuck on a level simply drives us nuts... (*bang head)
13 december Hong Kong 2006A blog update, finally... after returning from Hong Kong for 3 months, I've decided to add a blog entry about it.
Many thanks to my nice Hong Kong friends who met up with me, and brought me around to sightseeing and to eat the local delights. Ching and Ian, I realised I did not take any photos with you guys, blah so sad... To my other Hong Kong friends, there's always another chance we can meet up in the future =)
Hong Kong was great! Very fun, nice to shop, convenient to get around. Definately a different culture as Singapore, but still pleasant and wonderful. People were like busy bees, every hour in the traffic seemed like rush hour. Yet everyone were orderly and auto formed queues for everything: get on buses, get on trains, buy food etc. Singaporeans, we need to learn better manners!
Contrary to rumors, Disney was beautiful and very very fun. Ignore the rumors, and give it a try. Look, throw in Disney characters in a theme park, and along with all those cute merchandises on sale, how is it possible to be bad???
I urge everyone to visit Hong Kong. Affordable to travel to, it is a magnificent city. As for myself, there is a high chance for a Hong Kong 2007 or Hong Kong 2008 blog entry in the future =)
22 mei Da Vinci CodeThe Da Vinci Code. It is all the hype nowadays, and there's even a movie on it starring Tom Hanks. The discovery channel introduced it as "A masterpiece of controversy", and indeed how true that is.
I must confess that I am one of those that were affected. Amid all the buzz and hype, curiosity got the better of me and I picked up the paperback Da Vinci Code, and consumed the novel within 2 days. I've watched 2 related programs on it that the discovery channel featured, one regarding the knights templar and one called Da Vinci Declassified. I've yet to watch the movie, but I reackon that'll follow soon.
I watched on tv that when asked to comment on the Da Vinci Code, a church priest said, "Well, at least it got more people interested in Christianity". I must say that is true as far as I am concern. I am not a Christian, nor do I have any intention of joining the faith. But I was curious, and interested to know the truth, or at least how close to the truth are all these theories.
Even now, my interest has not lessen one bit. Too many questions unanswered, too many mysteries unsolved. Perhaps one day, I'll make a trip to Lourve and take a look at it myself. To witness with my own eyes, the wonderous masterpiece of Da Vinci.
